Blitz Puff Pastry

Time to bring back a favorite from the vault! Also known as "Rough puff pastry" or "Quick puff pastry", Blitz puff pastry has a simpler process than the traditional version with excellent results. We will learn how to make this pastry staple and set you up for a whole new world of dessert from scratch. Control the ingredients in your dough and have it ready to go in your freezer right when you need it! This is a great introduction to lamination and many find it easier and more flexible than croissant dough.

What's included:

• Learn which ingredients and mixing techniques to use for success
• Detailed step-by-step lamination instruction
• Each participant will make their own pound of puff pastry to take home for use the next day or to freeze for later
• Demonstration on how to turn puff pastry into palmiers, cheese straws, and turnovers. 
• Light snacks, drinking water, and tea.
