Don't buy store bought pie dough again! In this class, let us learn how to make a simple dough that you can use for pies and galettes. We'll learn proper mixing, rolling techniques so we avoid sticky dough, and how to troubleshoot cracking. We will learn to make both savory & sweet galettes and sit down for a casual lunch to enjoy our hard work.

What's included:

  • Step-by-step instruction on flaky, all-butter pie dough
  • Each participant will make their own batch of pie dough
  • Each participant will make their own small fruit galette to take home
  • In class, we will an enjoy a casual lunch of savory vegetable & cheese galette (e.g., asparagus/goat cheese, zucchini/tomato/feta) and mixed berry & stonefruit galette (e.g., apricot/blueberry, cherry). Produce selections depend on what's ripe and available.

Note: If you missed the pie making class before Thanksgiving this year, this is the same dough! It's a great time to learn without the busy holiday schedule.

If you cannot make this date, please don't hesitate to reach out as we are planning to add additional dates through the summer and would love to accommodate your schedule.
