Homemade, high-quality food gifts make the most appreciated gifts during the holidays. We'll cover the basics of working with high temperature sugar syrups to make salted caramels and fluffy vanilla bean marshmallows. We'll discuss the best tools for the job and how to customize the recipes to fit your tastes. Our menu will feature high quality ingredients like Valrhona cocoa powder, local dairy, and Californian pistachios and sea salt. Then we'll package and wrap everything up so you are ready for neighbors, friends, and family.
This class includes:
Detailed demonstration and hands-on instruction
Supplies to wrap, label, and decorate gifts
Each participant will take home:
2 containers of hot cocoa mix and marshmallows
1 x 4oz jar of pistachio butter
2 small boxes of hand-wrapped caramels
Hot tea / drinking water / light snacks
Specialty ingredients like Valrhona cocoa powder, vanilla bean paste, parchment paper will be available for sale after class.
