Steps to make sweet red pepper jelly: sliced peppers, food processor, simmering jelly, and finished jars for holiday gifts.

Holiday Gift Making Class Sneak Peek

All of the items from this class remind me to slow down and enjoy the company of good friends around good food. It's easy to get distracted and stressed during the holiday season, but reading these recipes is like picking up a favorite book, familiar and inviting. The matriarch of my old jamming club taught this sweet red pepper jelly recipe to me years ago (see pictures above). It is the best holiday cheeseboard accompaniment, so colorful and tangy.

Dragées are a classic confection and usually quite expensive, so making them is a great addition to your repertoire. My youngest loves to help toss them in cocoa powder :)

Even if you can't join us in class, I still encourage you to make some time to meet up with a friend and make gifts this holiday season. Send me a picture, I'd love to see your projects!
