Beginning Drawing for Everyone
Beginning Drawing for Everyone
Discover the joy of creativity in this engaging art class in Healdsburg, perfect for beginners and aspiring artists alike.
You, yes you can draw! Drawing is a skill anyone can develop, it just takes practice. This class will cultivate imagination, improve hand-eye coordination, and boost your confidence with drawing. In the first hour we'll practice basic observation and blind contour drawing. In the second half of class, we will use our newly acquired shading skills to draw a portrait of a loved one, a famous person, or any face you'd like to draw (your own?!).
Supply kit +$20 ($105 total): includes a sketchbook, 2 pencils, kneaded eraser, and blending tool. Have your own supplies? Only $85 class registration with no supply fee.
Note: Students will need to send a photo by email of who they'd like to draw for the second part of class. We'll be doing a graphite transfer method over a photocopy to get the base image on paper. We'll reach out the week before class for your photo.
This will be one of the most fun art classes in Healdsburg, and we hope you join us!
